About Equation Forge
Equation Forge is a make-the-number puzzle game: you get four number tiles and a target, and you build an expression that uses every tile with +, −, × and ÷ to hit the target exactly. Each solve buys you more time, and the operators and number ranges expand as you go — a mental-juggling race against the clock.
How to play Equation Forge
- 1Look at the target number shown at the top.
- 2Tap a number tile, then an operator, alternating until all four tiles are placed.
- 3The expression is evaluated left to right — land exactly on the target to forge it and win bonus time.
- 4Tap Clear to rebuild if you go wrong; the round ends when the clock hits zero.
What Equation Forge trains
Equation Forge is a working memory and planning workout: you track several tiles and a running total in your head, test operator combinations and keep your place — mental juggling that also reinforces arithmetic flexibility.

- Work backward from the target — ask what pair of tiles could get you close first.
- Multiplication and division swing the total fastest; use them to bridge big gaps.
- Remember the expression evaluates left to right, so tile order changes the result.
