About Math Tracer

Math Tracer is a multitasking brain game where you drag a moving trail between 2–4 lanes and steer into the tunnel labelled with the correct answer — all while the board scrolls toward you. The wrong tunnels dead-end, so you have to think and move at the same time. This is dual-task training in its purest form: mental arithmetic and split-second motor reactions fused into a single continuous action.

How to play Math Tracer

  1. 1Press and hold to grab the trail, then drag it left and right across the lanes.
  2. 2Each gate shows an equation and a different answer in every lane.
  3. 3Steer into the tunnel with the correct answer before the gate reaches you.
  4. 4Correct tunnels stay open; wrong ones wall off and end the run. More lanes and speed unlock as you climb.

What Math Tracer trains

Math Tracer trains motor-spatial focus and reaction time alongside mental math. Firing your calculation and movement networks together — instead of one after the other — is exactly the dual-task load that builds real-world processing speed and sustained attention.

Tips & strategy

  • Start drifting toward the right lane the moment you read the answer — don't wait for the gate.
  • Keep small, smooth corrections rather than big jerks so your trail stays precise as lanes narrow.
  • Glance one gate ahead so you're never solving at the last instant.

Frequently asked questions

What is a dual-task brain game?

A dual-task game makes you do two things at once — here, solving arithmetic while steering a precise path — which trains your brain to split and manage attention.

How does Math Tracer build reaction time?

You continuously guide a moving trail into a target lane, so your eyes, hand and thinking have to stay coupled and react in real time.

Is Math Tracer free?

Yes — it plays free in any modern browser and in the Altamens app.
