Su Slice Match
Slice Match is a fractions game where the picture does the teaching. Every round puts a shaded model on screen — a sliced disc or a divided bar — and asks you about the amount it shows rather than the digits: name it, find the model that matches a written fraction, compare two unlike fractions, spot an equivalent, or pick the piece that completes the whole. You get three lives, so a wrong answer costs one rather than the run.
Come si gioca a Slice Match
- 1Read the question above the board — it changes between rounds.
- 2Look at the shaded model and count its parts: the shaded ones are the numerator, all of them are the denominator.
- 3Tap the fraction or the model that answers the question before the bar empties.
- 4A wrong answer or a missed clock costs one of three lives. New question types unlock as you clear rounds.
Cosa allena Slice Match
Slice Match builds fraction sense — reading a quantity straight off a picture instead of manipulating symbols. Comparing unlike denominators visually is what makes the arithmetic obvious later, and doing it against a clock trains how quickly you can judge a quantity rather than calculate one.

- Count the total parts before the shaded ones; the denominator is what most wrong answers get wrong.
- On comparison rounds ignore the denominators and look at the shaded area — bigger denominators mean smaller pieces, not smaller amounts.
- For equivalents, check that the same multiplier was applied to the top and the bottom.
